Refund Policy

1. Overview
We stand behind Plotbook and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which we offer refunds for subscriptions and credit packs.
All purchases are processed by Paddle. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
2. Subscription Refunds
We offer a full refund on your most recent subscription payment if all of the following conditions are met:
- The refund is requested within 7 days of the billing date;
- You have used fewer than 10 credits in the current billing period;
- This is your first refund request on the account.
Approved refund requests will result in immediate cancellation of your subscription and revocation of any remaining credits for the period.
3. Credit Pack Refunds
One-time credit packs are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase provided that none of the credits have been used.
Partially used credit packs are not eligible for refunds. We do not offer partial refunds for the unused portion of a credit pack.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at support@plotbook.app with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your account;
- Your Paddle order or subscription ID (found in your receipt email);
- A brief reason for the refund request.
We will review your request within 2 business days and respond with an approval or denial. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
5. Exceptions & Edge Cases
Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service;
- Requests made after the 7-day window;
- Accounts with more than 10 credits used in the period;
- Duplicate or fraudulent refund claims;
- Dissatisfaction with AI output quality alone (please contact us first — we're happy to help).
